Merchant terms

Merchant responsibilities for ordering, fulfilment, customer information and support.

Draft for review · 10 September 2026

These notices are being updated for Shigram. They are not final legal terms and do not replace existing agreements or applicable rights.

Contracting parties

Shigram is operated by ShigramPay Private Limited (CIN U58201KA2025PTC201861), #109, 2nd Floor, 27th Main Road, HSR Layout Sector 2, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102. A signed merchant agreement or order form identifies the enabled services, outlet details and commercial terms. These general terms do not replace a signed commercial agreement.

Wallet roles

The ShigramPay wallet is a semi-closed prepaid payment instrument (PPI) issued by Transaction Analysts (India) Pvt. Ltd., an RBI-authorised PPI issuer. ShigramPay Private Limited provides the technology platform; it is not the wallet issuer. Merchant settlement arrangements and payment obligations are governed by the applicable issuer and commercial agreements; no settlement timetable is created by this page.

Menu and kitchen operations

Keep menu availability, prices, taxes, item descriptions and customisation options accurate. Monitor kiosk and app orders, including seated dine-in QR orders that go directly to the kitchen. Place the correct QR code in the intended dine-in area and check it after changes.

Fulfilment and delivery

Restaurants prepare and fulfil orders and handle delivery themselves. Cooperate with support in resolving delivery issues, non-delivery and wrong orders. Report rejected orders promptly so the applicable wallet reversal can be processed.

Customer cancellations and reversals

Customers cannot cancel once an order is placed, and change-of-mind refunds are not offered. Restaurant rejection triggers an instant wallet reversal; non-delivery or a wrong order is reversed to the wallet after checking with the restaurant. These rules remain subject to applicable mandatory rights and issuer requirements.

Customer information and recognition

Restrict staff access to what is needed for their work and remove access when staff leave. Do not treat an order or payment as consent to marketing. Face registration is optional, explicit-consent based and limited to users aged 18 and over. No face data is stored on kiosks.

Commercial terms and continuity

Fees, equipment costs, settlement terms, support levels, data roles and termination provisions belong in the signed agreement. Maintain a practical fallback for device or connectivity failures.
